So, now that you’re here, let me tell you a little about myself. If you personally know me, you know I can talk for days about anything (really, I can), but I never know what to say about myself. Let me tell you about some things that come to mind.
Let’s start with my education. I refer to myself as a recent grad, but it’s really not so recent. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree close to a year ago. I studied psychology, which was amazing. I love learning about the mind, and why we are the way we are. It’s a fascinating field.
As you’ll find out in some of my pictures I’m a hijabi. My hijab is one thing that people notice right away when they see me. It is a huge part of my identify since it’s a representation of my religion, my values, and my struggles. I love being a hijabi, and with all the fashionable hijabs I can look cute while representing my faith.
I’M A MOM! It still feels so surreal, that I am someone’s parent! The new mom feeling is still setting in, but I have loved every second of being a mom so far. As new as I am to being a parent, it’s a huge part of my identity. In my humble opinion babies are the purest form of love. Nothing compares to the feeling of a little human that shares half of your DNA, that you carried, and brought into the world. It’s amazing!!
